The Chester County Hospital has grown from a 10-bed dispensary established in 1892 to a healthcare provider that offers a full range of services, including a 238-bed, not-for-profit independent hospital, home care and many ancillary programs. Centers of Excellence include The Cardio-Vascular Center at The Chester County Hospital; Women's Health Services, The Cancer Center of Chester County and The Orthopedic Center. In addition to its West Chester location, many services are offered at satellite offices in the Downingtown, Exton, Lionville, New Garden, Chadds Ford and Kennett Square areas.
