Rosemont College Makes its First-Ever NCAA Basketball Tournament

Both the men’s and women’s teams clinched the CSAC conference titles and will now vie for the Division III title.

Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Rosemont College won their respective Colonial States Athletic Conference titles for the first time, landing them spots in the NCAA Division III tournament, which kicks off on March 1. It will be both team’s first-ever appearance in the post-season, where they’ll vie for the championship title.

The women’s basketball team heads into the tournament with an impressive 24-3 season record and is undefeated at home. They enter the tournament on a 19-game winning streak. The Ravens will take on nearby rivals, Haverford College, on March 1 at 5 p.m. at Tufts University in Massachusetts.

The men’s road to the tournament was a bit bumpier—they enter the post-season with a 15-12 regular season record, but were buoyed by an eight game winning streak. They’ll take on Amherst College in Rochester, N.Y., also on March 1. Tip off is at 5:30 p.m.
