The 2009 Gold Leaf Celebration

At the 2009 Gold Leaf Celebration Luncheon on Sept. 15, the Main Line Chamber of Commerce and the Devereux Foundation honored Bryn Mawr Hospital president Andrea Gilbert with the first Helena Devereux Women in Leadership Award, which recognizes an outstanding local businesswoman. Over 300 Main Line professionals attended the event at The Desmond Great Valley Hotel and Conference Center, including Bryn Mawr College president Jane McAuliffe and CBS’ Eyewitness News anchor, Pat Ciarrocchi. The award is named for Philadelphia schoolteacher Helena T. Devereux, who founded Devereux in 1912.
