Eagleview Town Center’s Expansion Includes Three New Eateries

Plus, Penns Woods Winery and Sly Fox Brewing Company are hosting several libation-themed events.

>> EAGLEVIEW EXPANSION: Exton’s Eagleview Town Center is getting three new eateries this month. Justin Weathers (pictured; Starr Restaurants, Cescaphe Event Group) and Joe Monnich (Parc) are the faces behind two of them. Weathers’ Bella Vista serves wine and simple food, including artisan pizzas, panini, handmade pasta, salads, and Italian meats and cheeses. Monnich’s Al Pastor brings the flavors of central Mexico to the Main Line, with spit-roasted meats, handmade tortillas, fresh ceviche, tableside guacamole and shareable plates. The third, Suburban, offers a farm-focused beer-garden concept.

>> FUN WITH FUNGI: The 31st annual Mushroom Festival returns to Kennett Square Sept. 9-11. The family-friendly event features a carnival, a parade, cooking demos, a fried-mushroom-eating contest, a mushroom cook-off, and a 5K. Visit mushroomfestival.org.

>> GARDENING BY THE GLASS: Visit Penns Woods Winery on Sept. 10 for an organic gardening class taught by third-generation gardener Deborah Kates from the Coatesville Area Arts Alliance. Topics include planting for fall, saving seeds for next year, and freezing vegetables.
