5 Local Festivals Taking Place This September
From Taste of Berwyn to the Mushroom Festival, you won’t want to miss these awesome events.
Taste of the Towns
Scheduled for Sept. 9, Bryn Mawr Day celebrates history and community while showcasing a variety of restaurants and retailers.
The 25th annual Radnor Fall Fest gets going on Sept. 17, featuring merchants, restaurants, local bands, carnival rides, and face painting.
That same day, head to Taste of Berwyn, which offers pop-up tents with specialty dishes. There will also be live music, face painting, balloon magic, plein air artists, artisan jewelers and a beer-and-wine garden.
Downtown Kennett Square is preparing for it 32nd annual Mushroom Festival Sept. 8-10. The family-friendly event features a carnival, parade, cooking demos, a fried mushroom eating contest, an amateur mushroom cook-off and a 5K.
On Sept. 30, downtown Phoenixville celebrates all things veggie at Vegfest. Highlights include vegan food, live music, street vendors, and fun activities for kids, plus vegan specials at local restaurants.
