Nominations Are Now Open for 2018 Women on the Move

Event Summary

Main Line Today’s Women on the Move event was held at Drexelbrook on October 26th. Women from the Main Line and the Western Suburbs were honored for being leaders in their respective fields during this special luncheon. The creator of Little Bag Big Impacts, Anna Welsh was present to hand out the awards to the twenty-three honorees. The event featured an exclusive conversation between speakers, Maria Arias of Comcast and Tracy Davidson of NBC10 on the importance and power of inclusion.


    Main Line Today’s Women on the Move luncheon was held at Drexelbrook. It is known as the Delaware Valley's premier Philadelphia Wedding Venue, Corporate Events Center and Banquet Facility.


    Maria Arias the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at Comcast Corporation was the featured speaker at the Women on the Move event. In her role she leads the implementation of strategic initiatives for diversity and inclusion across the company.


    Twenty-three women were honored for shattering glass ceilings and being leaders. The women covered an array of different fields from heading up nonprofits, establishing new businesses, and leading nationwide companies.
