Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican Army’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 during the Franco-Mexican War. Although the holiday is a relatively minor one in Mexico, in America, May 5 has become a day to indulge in traditional Mexican cuisine, beverages and culture. Here’s where you can celebrate locally.
